TOWER select Taysols for BI and Planning Project

TOWER today announced the selection of Taysols to analyse, architect, design, build and deploy their new planning and reporting solution. Alongside this, Taysols will develop a business intelligence strategy leveraging the latest releases of Oracle's OLAP and advanced BI reporting tools.

The new system interacts with TOWER's ERP system, providing both detailed and management level reporting through a single interface. The several planning models involve budgeting, forecasting and analysis at product and subfund level as well as detailed workforce planning functionality.

The implementation will occur in three phases: Phase I involves the implementation of HyperionPlanning and selected revenue-related models; phase II provides GL reporting with drill-though from balances presented in a GL reporting cube to journal lines in the financial data warehouse; phase three addresses workforce and general expense planning and associated modelling.
