Taysols wins engagement at Toyota Tsusho South Pacific Holdings (TTSPH)

A rapidly evolving planning process combined with an ever increasing need to forecast in a timely and accurate manner was placing increased strain on the current spreadsheet based system at TTSPH. The diverse geographical locations of the group and the large number of planning constituents meant that controlling the planning process was taking more involvement and time than TTSPH desired. It seemed as if more effort was being spent on compiling the budgets and forecasts which, combined with decreasing deadlines, meant that pressure was being placed on analysing the information. This led TTSPH to critically asses their environment and review the options available to them.

Taysols had previously assisted TTSPH with the design and build of the group's consolidation and reporting system which resulted in a successful deployment of Hyperion's Financial Management solution. TTSPH turned to Taysols to again assist them with the design and build of the budgeting and planning system. When completed, the solution will be deployed to around sixty users in around ten countries and will interface into the management reporting environment for seamless analysis and reporting.

"We are honoured to have once again been selected by TTSPH to assist them with this important project. We have come to regard each other as partners in TTSPH's programme of best practice in the BPM sphere." Mark Taylor, Director of Taysols said.

The group's planning needs encapsulate many of the more complex requirements of a forecasting and budgeting system namely; multi-currency, multi product, driver based and financial statement compilation and so the need for a robust platform capable of complex modelling and rapid informational turnaround was of significant importance. Taysols will leverage it's depth of knowledge in the Business Performance Management arena to assist TTSPH in this important project.

"Taysols' BPM expertise will add great value to reforming our group planning processes; jointly we will design and deploy a solution that is future-proof and forms the basis of an ongoing strive towards a better Business Performance Management practice." Dinesh Chand, Group MIS Manager.
