Taysols successfully completes Engagement at a major Australian Logistics Company

01 September 2005

Taysols has successfully completed a three month engagement to design a business performance management (BPM) solution for a major Australian logistics company. The engagement entailed analysing the organisation's current processes, defining the desired state and designing a solution that would meet the company's reporting, budgeting and forecasting requirements. Based on the high-level design a deployable solution platform was built and showcased to a large number of senior stakeholders.

"The feedback has been overwhelming", Mark Taylor, Director of Taysols said. "The solution, as demonstrated, is going to provide significant efficiency gains and ease the burden of compiling budgets, forecasts and reports."

Recent research undertaken by a range of companies has concluded that most organisations' planning, budgeting and forecasting processes are generally time consuming, focussed on data preparation rather than analysis and are slow and unresponsive to changing business drivers and priorities. In addition, these processes do not successfully link the organisation's strategic priorities with operational plans that underpin the delivery of outcomes. Taysols' expertise and experience in this area significantly contributed to the overall success of this engagement.
