Throughout the year Taysols has been supporting the fundraising efforts of Taysols client Thiess for Seeing Eye Dogs Australia, a division of Vision Australia. One facet of the Thiess Emerging Leaders program is to raise funds for a charity of choice. The Thiess Emerging Leaders team chose to sponsor a small puppy, Digger, now close to entering his formal training as a guide dog. Paul Lyle, Chairman of the Thiess Emerging Leaders team said: "We are proud of what we have achieved in a year. Thanks to the very generous support of Taysols we have been able to exceed our fundraising target and thus enable the training Digger and most likely contribute towards the training of another seeing eye dog".
Taysols today announced the appointment of Dr Christoph Mecker as the Managing Director of Taysols Pty Ltd. Christoph joined the company in 2004 as Principal Consultant and was appointed General Manager in 2008. "Over the past few years Christoph has taken on the challenges of leading the firm through a period of sustained growth whilst maintaining our reputation for outstanding service and delivery. Along the way he has excelled at creating and executing upon strategy and fostered our core values of integrity, thought leadership and hard work. I welcome him to the Taysols Board of Directors." Mark Taylor, Director of Taysols said. The promotion to Managing Director takes effect immediately.
Continuing their support and sponsorship of Books in Homes, Mark Taylor, Director of Taysols, confirmed today that "our interest in giving back to society, in particular the Aboriginal community, is still a prime priority for us. To be able to contribute to the development of reading skills and education of young and less fortunate children is incredibly rewarding." A letter from Julie Christine, a teacher at Strelley Community School, proves the invaluable benefit Taysols' donation brings to the community: "These books help the younger students in particular to develop early reading habits. On 30 October Taysols attended Oracle’s exclusive Business Analytics Summit: Big Data at Work and shared in-depth experiences and professional insights with customers and experts in the field.

Taysols proudly sponsored Oracle’s Enterprise Performance Management Summit for CFOs held in Melbourne on 16 October 2013. Taysols client Brookfield Australia presented a case study on their successful implementation of Hyperion Financial Management under challenging circumstances in a short period of time. Taysols has finally outgrown its offices at Jones Bay Wharf and today announced the opening of new premises in Sydney's CBD. Continuing strong growth across the consulting, hosting and support businesses dictated the call for a bigger office. Taysols today announced the release of an updated version of its continuous audit application TIM (Taysols Integrity Manager).
