Leadership

Mark is the Founder and Chairman of Taysols. He is a recognised Enterprise Performance Management expert and has worked in the domain for around 30 years. Mark founded our cloud services and co-founded our support services and the Solantic Group.

Prior to founding Taysols in 2002, Mark was Partner in Charge of KPMG’s analytical solutions and ERP practices and before that, back in the ’80s and ’90s, was responsible for the global reporting of a European based conglomerate. In between, he served spells in treasury and accounting roles and has lived in both Australia and Europe, interspersed with lengthy durations in Asia.

Mark blends his skills as both a financial and IT practitioner and, along with 25 years of application architecture, design, project management and implementation experience for the benefit of our clients and partners.

In his spare time, Mark is actively involved in philanthropy, the arts, adventuring, motorcycling and architecture and has been known to enjoy a meal or two.

Jayson is the Managing Director of Taysols. He has been working on Performance Management and Analytics solutions for almost 20 years and is considered a leader in these fields in the Australian marketplace. Jayson has designed, implemented and/or supported Business Analytics solutions from most of the leading vendors having worked directly with IBM, Microsoft, Oracle, OneStream, SAP and indirectly with a number of the smaller vendors.

Prior to joining Taysols, Jayson had a strong career in Strategy and Management consulting within the Business Analytics domain and he is responsible for both growth and delivery within the Taysols cloud, consulting and support businesses.

While obtaining his degree Jayson started up an innovative business to enhance road safety for large vehicles and brings this passion for great solutions to all his customer engagements.
Domiciled in Melbourne, Jayson shares that city’s love of great food, small bars, and magnificent golf courses.

While he will never admit it he also enjoys taxiing his two children about between their busy weekend activities.

Åsa is a Principal Consultant and the CFO of Taysols. She joined Taysols in 2004 after an impressive career as a group accountant and management consultant. In 2007 Åsa became a Director of our support business Taysolsblue. Her expertise and experience in group accounting and FP&A combined with an impeccable technical knowledge makes her the finest Hyperion Financial Management consultant in the region; and as such an invaluable asset to the Taysols team.

Åsa first became involved with the Hyperion solutions when she worked with the founder of Hyperion back in 1986. Prior to joining Taysols, Åsa worked as a Senior Manager at KPMG and as a Principal Consultant at Cognos, winning awards at both organisations.

At KPMG, she was the Asia Pacific lead for Hyperion’s Advanced Applications Group, the pinnacle of HFM consultants around the world. Prior to KPMG, Åsa was the group accountant for a Swedish based conglomerate with operations in over 40 countries and was a member of the company’s executive committee.

Åsa has accounting qualifications and is certified in all versions of HFM and Hyperion Planning as well as Oracle’s legacy consolidation and budgeting solutions (Enterprise and Pillar respectively). When not working, Åsa is an ardent reader, enjoys the arts and theatre, maintains a scary level of fitness and speaks several languages.

Ben is the National Business Development Manager and brings over 20 years’ experience in the IT industry. A Civil Engineer who enjoyed computers more so than building roads, he started his career on the helpdesk for Franklins Supermarkets. He spent the next 8 years working in Application Development and Support for a number of multinationals and smaller organisations including a 3 year stint living in the UK.

Ben’s focus on Business Development and assisting clients reach their organisational goals began 13 years ago and he entered the Business Analytics space around 10 years ago when working at Oracle.

After successful times at Oracle and MicroStrategy in which Ben worked closely with the Taysols team to help deliver a number of solutions for our clients, he spent time at PwC fine-tuning his Analytics Consulting skills. Ben joined Taysols in June 2015 with a primary focus on helping new and existing clients achieve Business Analytics success through the value add services that Taysols delivers.

Ben spends most of his time away from work with his family of 2 kids and wherever possible squeezing in a game of golf! He enjoys staying fit and is a bit of an F45 fanatic!

Matt is our Support and Cloud Teams Lead. 

With over twenty years of experience working in the corporate finance realm – split between roles in Financial Planning and Analysis teams and as an EPM consultant delivering implementations and working in support, Matt has taken on to lead our support and cloud team and represent Taysols as part of ‘Solantic’ worldwide.

Matt is passionate about helping clients achieve success through enhancing and evolving their EPM solution as well as improving/adapting their business processes.

When Matt is not looking after Taysols’ clients, he enjoys going to live music gigs and can be seen at various sports events.

Paul is our National OneStream and Analytics Lead at Taysols. Paul leads the rapidly growing OneStream practice within Taysols covering Financial Reporting, Consolidations, FP&A and Analytics.

Originally from England, Paul made his way to Australia in 2009 and soon established his career in the financial planning and analysis sector.  He joined Taysols in 2014 and immediately became a valuable member of the team, steadily driving the team’s performance.

With over 20 years of experience covering a wide spectrum of industries including Financial Services, Manufacturing, Telecommunications, Transport, Pharmaceuticals, Government, and Retail and having been the head of Taysols’ Support and Cloud Service team for over five years, Paul has just what it takes to become our National OneStream and Analytics practice lead.

Paul is an avid soccer player and is determined to teach his two kids how to ‘bend it like Beckham’. Besides running on the field, he is also a well-travelled foodie and we rely on his recommendations when going overseas.

Hayley is our ESG Lead. She has over 25 years consulting experience, specialising in the delivery of Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) solutions, with experience in multiple vendor products. Hayley has been involved in numerous projects from inception, through requirements gathering, design, implementation, delivery and training both as a team member and as a team leader.

Being very organised, adaptable and effective at communicating has enabled her to successfully work in a broad range of industries such as mining, education and manufacturing.

While she’s holding a current Planning & Budgeting Certification, she also has thorough functional knowledge of Financial and Management Reporting and Consolidations. More recently, Hayley made her interest in ESG part of her role and enjoys demonstrating how EPM tools can help clients meet their ESG Reporting requirements.

When she’s not working, Hayley enjoys trail running, watching sports, going to the beach and spending time with her hubby, kids and puppy.  

Aaron is our National Oracle EPM Practice Lead and oversees the Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) division, dealing with stakeholders at all levels across multiple sectors in the corporate, manufacturing, transport and public sectors.

With over 20 years of experience, he has extensive knowledge in implementing system development projects covering all aspects of the system development life cycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, training, and deployment.

 

 

Aaron joined Taysols in 2012 and has become a driving force within the business. Before Taysols, Aaron worked as a technical lead and solution architect on numerous EPM implementations.

In his spare time, Aaron is an avid Ice Hockey player and supporter of the Philadelphia Flyers. He is an accomplished photographer and enjoys travelling with his wife and son.
